VFW WI District 8

Our 8th District Planning Meeting will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2008 hosted by Duck Creek VFW Post & Ladies Auxiliary No. 7534 at 754 Riverside Drive. They is a light luncheon scheduled at 12:00 noon with a meeting to follow for both the Comrades & Sisters. Comrades will meet at 1:00pm.

Both organizations would like to see all District officers, Posts & Ladies Auxiliary officers - Commanders, Sr. Vice, Jr Vice, Presidents, Sr. Vice, Jr. Vice in attendance.

This is a open meeting for the Comrades & Sisters of the 8th District so if there is anyone from your Post or Ladies Auxiliary that would like to attend, please do so.

This is a good time to greet old friends or make new ones and get information on this years programs.

Directions: The Duck Creek Post # 7534 on U.S. Highway 41 from the North or South use the Velp Avenue exit and turn right or left on Velp Avenue. After crossing the bridge, turn right at the signal lights, the Post is about a block on your right.

From Highway 43 turn on to Highway U.S. 41 continue on until the Velp Avenue exit and turn right onto Velp Avenue. Good across the bridge, turn right at the signal lights, the Post is about a block on you right.

The Post requires a head count for the number of comrades ans sisters that will be attending so that they will know about how many to prepare for. Sunday September 21, 2008 Fall Meeting will be held by Sturgeon Bay Post 3088, Liberty Grove Post 8337 and Fish Creek Post 9290 at Stone Harbor Resort, 107 First Ave, Sturgeon Bay, Lunch 11:30am with meetings scheduled at 1:00pm. (More Details to Follow)
