History of this Post: The Post was established in 1946 after World War II. Over these year we have met in may different places and most recently obtained a post home that is presently being prepared for use with a t-date of May 1, 2009. We are about 116 members stong.

Meeting Dates: We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the Dorchester Community Center, Dorchester Road, Norton, VA at 6 PM. We welcome visiting VFW members from othe states and local area. We are constantly seeking new qualified VFW members.

Other Information: Our Post is dedicated with helping the community. In 2008 we condcuted 90 military funerals, participated in the local High School Voice of Democracy, Ememtary School, Patriots Pen and Nationa Teacher Recognition Award, we are involved in parades, memorials, Veterans Day Celebration, Scouting, Little League Baseball and Football, we aid and assist needy familes and veterans. We provide assistance for veteran health care entitlements.
