Virginia State Convention Preparation

One continuing feature of this convention has been the
Tenth District Hospitality Room. Our Posts and Ladies
Auxiliaries have contributed funds, food and drink, and
people to help make this a success over the years.
One feature we will be without is the hard work and
experience put together by Jan and Ken Ward who
coordinated the Tenth District Hospitality Room for
some years. We cannot expect to meet their high
levels of achievement and experience, but still we
will try (We are, after all, the Tenth District!).
Every Post and Auxiliary should have a meeting between now and the convention. We ask you to
determine how you will support the room and let
Chairman Matt Miller of Post 9274 know by e-mail what
you will do.
Please info copy me. Cash donations, food, drink, people are all welcome contributions. After everyone's hard work this year,
I hesitate to ask you for more, but this does not happen
by itself. And remember we are home to the State
Commander, next year's State Commander, and the
State Commander and President several years down
the line. Let' s Keep the Tenth on Top --- I almost
said "Tootin'!" but perhaps that relies too much on beans...
