VFW Logo Use
The VFW logo is a registered trademark of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Use of the name and/or the logo without written permission of the VFW is prohibited.

VFW Privacy Policy
This is the Network of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, which is owned and operated by Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States(VFW). VFW maintains the network as a service to its members and visitors, subject to the following terms and conditions concerning the use of the network ("Terms of Use"). When you use the network, you accept the Terms of Use; if you do not agree to the Terms of Use you may not use the network. VFW reserves the right to modify content on the network and these Terms of Use periodically without prior notice.

We do not use this Network to collect any personally identifiable information about you other than what you provide voluntarily. We may use such voluntarily provided information to improve our understanding of your interests, to improve our services, or to contact you. It is our policy not to share or disclose personal information of our donors or contacts to third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes if you request that we not do so. We sometimes exchange contact lists, but only with other charities. If you do not want any personally identifiable information about yourself collected through this network, please do not provide it. At your request we will make reasonable efforts to remove any such information from our records. You may submit your request by e-mail (Info@vfw.org) by toll-free telephone 1-800-479-5228, or by mail (VFW, 406 West 34th Street, Kansas City, MO, 64111)

If you supply us with your postal address online you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on VFW programs or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by sending e-mail to us at the above address. Please provide us with your exact name and address.

Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers online may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding requests they have made online.

If you visit the Networks of any of our partners, please consult their privacy policy.

Use of Content on the network
You may view, download, and redistribute VFW-originated contents from the Network subject to the following conditions: (a) the content may be used solely for information purposes; (b) the content shall not be modified or altered in any way and (c) links to relative Network pages shall be provided by you.

You may not frame or use framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of VFW without the express written consent of VFW. You may not use any meta tags or any other "hidden text" using VFW's name or trademarks without the express written consent of VFW. You may not use any VFW logo or other proprietary graphic or trademark as part of the link without express written permission.

You do not acquire any ownership rights to any content in the network.

Reviews, Comments, Communications and Other Content
You may submit comments and provide other content so long as the content is not obscene, illegal, threatening, or defamatory and so long as the content does not invade the privacy or infringe the intellectual property of a third party. Further, such content may not contain software viruses, mass mailings, chain letters, or any form of "spam." You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of the information.

By submitting information, you grant the VFW WebCOM Network a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sub-licensable right to reproduce, use, modify, publish, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. By submitting information you also represent and warrant that the content is accurate; you own or have permission to use the content that you submit; and that use of the content will not cause injury to any person or entity.

Products and Services Offered On the Network
VFW offers products and services on the network. When you enroll to obtain a product or service from Network services, you accept the specific agreement applicable to that product or service. Your use of any such product or service offered on the Network is governed by the terms and conditions in the agreement for that product or service. Except as provided in that agreement, Owners of the VFW WebCOM Network do not warrant that any product descriptions or content contained in this Network is accurate, current, reliable, complete, or error-free.

Copyright Information
The network and the content within the network are the property of VFW or its suppliers and are protected by United States copyright laws. The compilation, organization and display of the content as well as all software and inventions used on and in connection with this network are the exclusive property of the VFW WebCOM Network . VFW & third parties reserve all rights in the network and its content not specifically granted in any agreements with VFW or in the Terms of Use.

Advertising and Sponsorship Policies

Veterans of Foreign Wars
provides equal access opportunities for advertising and sponsorship
through the VFW WebCOM Network (the "Network").  Appearance of content
on this network shall in no way indicate endorsement from or by
the VFW. Content is posted to this site for the purpose of sharing and  responding to information.  With the exception of issues related to Veterans Issues, the editorial position of this site is to take no editorial position.  Our policy is to  maintain neutrality and non-partisanship to create a venue for engagement, for debate, for democracy.

VFW Departments and its affiliates will not be held responsible for the positions of others found hereto.

Advertising Conditions

1.  The Veterans of Foreign Wars and Departments are non-partisan organizations and provides political and other advertising to membership and the public through the Network for informational purposes only. THE VFW DOES NOT AND SHALL NOT ENDORSE POLITICAL PARTIES OR
CANDIDATES.

All advertising is subject to VFW approval. Rates, conditions
and space units are subject to change without notice. Positioning
requests that are not paid for are not guaranteed. The Network may reject
advertisements without liability, for any reason or no reason,
including those that the VFW deems inappropriate or incompatible with
its standards and those that have been previously acknowledged or
accepted.

The Network may place the words “advertisement” or "sponsorship" otherwise add or delete
text to or from ads, which, in VFWs opinion, resemble editorial matter.
The Network does not accept cancellations after the publication closing date.

A commission may be paid to advertising agencies recognized by the Network.

2. Payment terms are negotiable.  The Network may apply payments from
Advertiser or its affiliates to any other debt owed to the VFW or its
affiliates. Advertiser and its affiliates shall remain liable for all
outstanding sums owed to VFW and its third parties. Advertiser
will be charged interest on all past due payments at the rate of 18
percent per year or the highest legal rate, whichever is lower.
Advertiser, its affiliates and any applicable agency are jointly and
severally liable for all payments to the Network and its affiliates.
The Network is not bound by any terms or conditions that are unwritten or
that appear on order forms or copy instructions when those terms or
conditions conflict with or alter any provision contained in
VFW WebCOM advertising agreements or its policies.

3. Advertiser and any applicable agency jointly and severally represent
that they are fully authorized and licensed to use, link and publish (i) the
names, portraits and pictures of living and /or dead persons, (ii) all
intellectual, private and proprietary property, and (iii) all
testimonials and other matter contained in any advertisement submitted
by or on behalf of Advertiser, and that the advertisement is not
libelous, an invasion of privacy or otherwise unlawful.

4. As part of the consideration to induce the Network to publish
advertisements, Advertiser, any applicable agency and their affiliates
agree to and shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless VFW WebCOM and
its affiliates from and against any and all losses, damages (including
consequential, incidental special and punitive damages), liabilities,
costs, fees and expenses (including court, collection and legal fees
and expenses) incurred, arising out of the or related to (i) the
content and publication of the advertisements, and (ii) the failure of
any contest related to the advertisements to comply and conform to all
applicable laws, ordinances, statues and rules.

5. The Network aggregate liability to Advertiser and any third parties for
any and all reasons shall not exceed the amount paid by Advertiser to
the Network for the applicable advertisement. The VFW shall have no
liability in all cases resulting from events that are beyond its
reasonable control. In no event shall the Network be liable to Advertiser
or any other party for consequential, incidental, special or punitive
damages. VFW and its third parties are not liable for errors published on through the Network

6.  VFW reserves the right to change any part of its policies without
notice.  Advertisers must comply with the terms and
conditions of the VFW Network Policies.
