When your job is done your platoon is separated to the four corners of the world and you are alone in contemplating your past amongst those who you wish to keep oblivious of the pain. Follows is a draft of a proposal to assist veterans and military families in their transitions in service, rehabilitation and over all health and well being. Having those closest to you while you adjust to civilian life is ideal to create a healing environment. VALOR Ocean Cruise Fleet is inspired by the comradeship of veterans, the work of the Cooties, the needs of the convalescing soldier & sailors rarely visited at VA hospitals throughout the nation and their children. Such a plan may also strengthen the bonds between our service personnel and show them that we are more than a nation at war, but a people responsible for peace. ![]() The deficit of war reverberates throughout a nation with emotional, physical, and fiscal repercussions. There is a profound need for earnest creativity focused on what is in the best interest of our nation's volunteer defense. VALOR Cruise Lines seeks to address this need by providing a unique venue to: Assist military families and personnel in transition; Provide for sanctuary, safety, medical care and support for reuniting military families and returning/rehabilitating service people; Enable whole families and entire units to rest, decompress and have the opportunity to mourn together. It is our hope readers may consider how to take a leadership role in making this project a reality. I. Purpose The purpose of VALOR, Veterans And Loved Ones Residential Ocean Liners, is to acquire, develop, and maintain residential ocean communities to suit the needs of veterans and military families, particular to transition, housing, employment, rehabilitation, and retirement. III. Vision Our vision is of a private-public partnership for the creation of a residential ocean fleet- A sanctuary adrift. VALOR may provide to all guests and residences medical support, recreation, fresh organic cuisine, premium comfort, hospitality and education to military families in need while offering a competitive and unique vacation and retirement destination. Jackson, former military pilot...is the owner and C.E.O of Residential Cruise Line, Ltd. and a person of interest. He has created a luxury residential cruise line design. There must be several half empty ocean liners in today's economy and old, unused naval ships. V. Conclusion VALOR requires extensive research and planning to provide for the above. We are looking for major partners to support research, development and marketing of the VALOR fleet. Already we have acquired verbal commitments of support from groups, companies and individuals. We are particularly interested in the ship design of the residential cruiser Magellan and the possibility of working with existing ocean liner owners.
