History of this Post: Post 6088 received it charter on 2/27/1946 as the Washington Memorial Post with 50 charter members.On 5/29/2006 the named was changed to the Red Brinson Washington Memorial Post in honor of E.B.(Red)Brinson for his meritorious and distingusted service in furthering the aims and ideals of the VFW and all the local work he done through the years at Post 6088.

Meeting Dates: 1st and 3rd Thursday, 7 PM located at 3375 River Road Washington,N.C.
