History of this Post: VFW Post 10999 Thomas Walker Memorial, was formed July, 1990. The Post is named for SSG. Thomas Walker, a Vietnam Veteran Killed in Action During Operation Junction City 1966. The Post's membership include Veterans of WWII, Korea, Vietnam, 1st Gulf War, OEF and OIF. The Post has won several National and State Awards including All State Post (3) and 100% Membership (5). The Post is an active member in the Wake County Council of Veterans Organizations.

Meeting Dates: The Post Meets the 1st Thursday each month at 7:00 PM. The Post holds its' monthly meeting at Gwendloyn's, 1607 Curtis Drive Raleigh, NC 27610
