Pot-O-Gold Drawing Results

On Friday, October 23rd, Ladies Auxiliary Life Member Elizabeth Talley LOST $230.50. She WAS NOT present and was NOT signed in for the weekly drawing for the Pot-O-Gold.
If you would like to win approx. $240.00 USD, come to the post and sign up for the Pot-O-Gold drawing. This drawing is for members of the post (Comrades and Ladies Auxiliary). If you are signed up and not present at the time of the drawing (Friday evenings) you can win half the pot. If you are there at the time (8 PM) of the drawing, you could win it all.
If you do not sign up at all and your name is pulled, -You WILL win NOTHING.
Next drawing is Friday, October 30th at 8 PM. Estimated value of the POT-O-GOLD is $240.00 USD.
Post 670 Receives Silver Star Donor Award from National Home

For another year, VFW Post 670 has received a "Silver Star" award at the Annual Awards Breakfast during the National Convention. The National Home for Children presents awards to posts who donate money to the National Home. The Silver Star is awarded for annual donations from $1,000 to $1,999.

We are located at 3928 Doc Bennett Road behind the Fayetteville airport and across the street from the Fire Training Facility. Our normal hours are: Thursday and Friday 6 PM until-,Saturdays and Sundays open on special occasions. Check our calendars for special events and activities. Our Wii system is now up and running. What is your game? Bowling, Darts, Golf, Tennis, etc, and the list goes on. Keep an eye on our calendar for days and times. Fun for the whole family.

The post is now wired for Wi-Fi for all you computer buffs. I walked the entire post area with my laptop and got a strong signal everywhere.
Bring your laptops, Have a cup of coffee (or whatever) and enjoy the evening. If we get a better demand and turnout, we can open longer.
