VFW Post 2087 (Greensboro, NC) received the Most Patriotic Float for the 2009 Annual July Fourth Parade. Members of the Grimsley High School Army Junior ROTC assisted the VFW Post in handing out small American Flags to spectators along the parade route.

Barry Avent (Adjutant) and Members of the VFW Post 2087 Ladies Auxillery manned the “Letters to Troops” booth during the recent Fun Fourth Celebration in downtown Greensboro, NC July 4^th holiday. Public participation was overwhelming.
