NC District 7 Convention Announced
Posted at 05:23 PM on Thursday, February 25, 2010 by dist7
The District 7, Spring meeting will be held on 24 April at the Garner VFW Post 10225. The meeting will start with a meal at 12:00 noon and joint session will follow. I would encourage you to relay this information to all members of your posts.I also would strongly encourage all Posts Commanders to attend, as this will as serve as the time frame for the District elections.
In addition the Dept Conf will be held after this meeting, so this will also provide the Posts the opportunity to voice their opinion at the District meeting so it can be addressed at the June conf.
If your post has not ordered Buddy Poppys, now is the time to do it with the Nat'l Guard Heavy Brigade returning, and these folks will need assistance.
If you have any questions please contact me.
