Gifts for Wounded Warrior Battalions in NC

Dear Fellow North Carolina Veterans,
In response to requests from veterans and service personnel working with the Wounded Warrior Battalions in North Carolina , Senator Burr has engaged officials within the Department of Defense to find ways to streamline the gift-acceptance process and make it easier for the military to accept gifts for wounded service personnel. Today the Army launched a website that is designed to inform the public about ways to contribute and speed up the gift-acceptance process: http://giftstoarmy.army.mil/. Senator Burr is continuing to work with DOD to find ways to further increase efficiency.
Many have you have worked hard to find ways to streamline the gift-acceptance rules. The Senator is extremely grateful for your efforts and wanted me to pass along his personal thanks to you. I look forward to continuing to work with those of you who have taken a leading role in this effort.
