Post 8045 recently gathered to enjoy their annual Members Christmas Party at the Post home, even without electricity for four hours. Thanks to a family member, we were able to hook up a generator to our switch box and continue with the festivities.
Santa Claus stopped by to visit with the members children and give them a treat and listen to what they wanted for Christmas.
The buffet style meal of panned fried chicken and a dishes ,brought by members were enjoyed by all.
After the meal a Christmas gift exchange was done and attendance prizes were given out.
Bingo this year was canceled, due to the existing weather conditions and weather that was coming in later that evening. It was best to get everyone home safe and sound.
