Post 3944 MO Hosts JPAC Briefing
Department of Missouri POW/MIA Chairman (Post 3944 Commander) Tom Mundell MC'd an informative evening breifing conducted by Johnie Webb, Deputy Commander of the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command based at Hickman AFB. The evening started with openning remarks by Tom Mundell followed with an opening prayer and the POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony. After the openning ceremonies, a video on the JPAC Operations was presented to open the doors as to what JPAC stands for.
After the Video, Johnie Webb proceeded with the briefing which lasted close to an hour well invested with excellent information. The presentation was supported with an excellent Power Point presentation.
There were a number of Dignitaries on hand and all on the Government Official had a representative on hand. Among the VFW Dignitaries on hand were Past Commander-in-Chief James Mueller, Department of Missouri Commander Dave Morgan, Dept Jr Vice Cdr Olin Parks, District 9 Cdr Nancy Miller, and Past District 12 Cdr Chris Weber.

After Johnie Webb concluded his presention, he answered questions for about 45 minutes. A large after the meeting discussion then followed as everyone mingled around.

Hello, My name is Louise Bryan. I'm with Soldiers Angels and I am writing to invite your organization to sponsor and attend an event on October 21st. We are proud to host in conjunction with the VFW Post 3944, a evening with Johnie Webb, The Senior Advisor to The Commander for Public Relations and Legislative Affairs from Hickman Air Force Base in Hawaii. He will be speaking about JPAC (Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command).
JPAC personnel are responsible for searching, recovering and identifying remains of Americans unaccounted for, from all conflicts including World War II through The Persian Gulf War.
