     Mtn grove VFW Post 3770 built and dedicated to the veterans of Desert Storm the flag pole at the Tri-County Fairgrounds on July 4, 1991. A plaque was added in 2008 honoring Jerry T. Conkin for all the flag poles he built and installed around the town of Mtn Grove.
   Every year since 1991 VFW Post 3770 has performed a "Color Ceremony" to officially open the Tri-County Fair.
    The photos below were taken prior to and following the event that was held on June 26, 2009.
