The crowd is quiet with everyone concentrating on trying to win the $700. We had 103 players and were having a real good evening. The four "Early Bird" games paid $200 each and the regular games paid $100. When Bingo was finally shouted on the Progressive Game there were three winners. Pete had called 35 numbers before a winning combination came up. So the Progressive game paid $235 each to three winners. Later on in the evening our big Blackout was won by one lucky lady for $500. I wish we could get that big a crowd every Thursday evening.
Here is Comrade H. D. Kingsland, our "Pull Tab" Salesman hard at work.. Comrade Kingsland is a retired Senior Chief Machinist Mate and was on the USS Maddox in 1964 when she was attacked by the North Vietnamese in the 'Gulf of Tonkin'. Comrade Kingsland is also Past Post Commander and Past District 18 Commander.
