Mtn Grove VFW makes donation to Norwood "Project Grad"

Post quartermaster Iris Joe Kelley is shown here presenting a donation to Norwood High School Senior Samantha Sellars for the Norwood 2008 "Project Grad". Post 3770 makes annual donations to the area High Schools for many different events. Post 3770 feels that the "Project Grad" program is one of the best as it's intention is to ensure that graduating seniors have a chaperoned place to unwind and celebrate their graduation.

Mrs. Leah Swanger, VFW Post 3770 Ladies Auxiliary Treasurer, presents the Daughters of the American Colonist medal to Cadet Sergeant Major Chasity Bloomer during the Mountain Grove High School JROTC awards banquet. Cadet Bloomer, a senior at Mountain Grove High School and a four year member of the MGHS MCJROTC, will graduate next month and
complete her United States Army Reserve occupational training this coming summer.
