Recruiter Training at Post 3127 (Chaffee)

District 15 hosted a recruiter training at Chaffee on Sunday afternoon for the VFW posts and Auxiliary in the district.  Bob Harmon, national recruiter, led the training, presented materials and how to use them, and imparted all kinds of good advice on how to recruit.  The following posts were in attendance and gathered valuable knowledge that will help them grow their posts:  Post 3127 (Chaffee), Post 3174 (Sikeston), Post 3485 (Doniphan), Post 3838 (Cape Girardeau), Post 4680 (Caruthersville), Post 5368 (Morley), Post 6407 (Scott City),Post 6953 (Hayti), and Post 7750 (Advance).  Many thanks for your dedication and interest in our fine organization.   Olin Parks, MO Jr-Vice Cdr

Sikeston Post 3174 Quartermaster Mike Watson and Post Commander Ken Lowes hold $500 check from the Department of Missouri that was won by Sikeston in a drawing of about 20 posts that had attained at least a 5% reinstate membership by February 21, 2010.  Great job comrades!!!  Picture by Olin Parks, MO Jr-Vice Cdr

Conley Clark,  District 15 Voice of Democracy Winner, being escorted into Banquet Hall by VFW Auxiliary District 15 President Sheila Allen and VFW District 15 Senior Vice Commander Harold Williams.   Conley went on to the banquet during which he found out that he placed second at the state level and got $1,250 for his placing.  Conley was sponsored by the Scott City VFW - Cdr Levi Woods.    Picture by Olin Parks, MO Jr-Vice Cdr
