    The annual Veterans of Foreign Wars Mo.Foundation golf tournament is already in the planning stage. The date has been set for June 4,2010. It will be a two man, two ladies, or mixed scramble,with cash prizes in three flights four places in each flight. We will have television coverage this year with many more extras. The tournament is open to all not just VFW or Auxiliary members. In order to improve and expand I am asking for your HELP. I need volunteers from all sides of the state not only the day of tournament but to distribute flyers and to find sponsors. If this sounds like something you would like to get involved in please contact me at mofoundationchrm@movfwwebmail.com or call 1-800-903-3370ex00 I hope to have a meeting at the Feburary CofA everyone is invited to attend. Come join the fun and help generate much needed funds to help our Veterans,their families,and support VFW programs. Thanks look forward to hearing from you. Your Golf Tournament is almost here, September 18 Hartsburg, Mo. 9:00 am tee time. Please remember this is to benefit our Organization, Community, and Veterans and their families. If we don’t or won’t support our own fundraising events how can we expect others too. This will be a special day to honor Joe Lundy’s memory. It is also POW/MIA day. Come join in, show our support for our veterans and have fun doing it! Its’ not too late get your team together! Send in your form with team names and entry fee or call dept. VFW GOLF TOURNAMENT

Comrades this year’s golf tournament will be here before we know it.  Don’t miss out on a day of fun, and to show Missouri what the Veterans of Foreign Wars is about.  There will be a tent with service officers to answer questions and help with claims. You will also be able to sign NEW members or reinstate those that need to be back with our organization.

Golf with cart, Bagels & Coffee in the morning, and Lunch all comes with your entry. There will be a silent auction and raffle for great items, a putting contest, closest to pin on all par 3s  and longest drive

The date is September 18, 2009, Eagle Knoll Golf Course, Hartsburg, MO.   Reduced room rates have been arranged at Capital Plaza for $69.00 per night, and Hotel DeVille at $50.00 per night in Jefferson City for those who need to come in early. Use VFW GOLF when making reservations.
