Ordering Entries Correctly
« on: August 14, 2007, 09:16:41 am »
Hey Everyone,

I have just been given the NC Department template for the POW/MIA Committee.  The problem that I am having is when an entry is submitted, it will not order it correctly according to the date.  I can post something with any date, and it will always be at the top.  I do not want this to happen.  I would like everything to be in date order.

Any suggestions?  Has anyone else had this challenge?  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to move from my other blog.

Is this on the webcom network blog? If so I may have an idea about it.  Private message me your login address and username password and I will go take a look.  I am the Dept of Mo Blogmaster and they should work the same.

This appears to be a glitch caused by the "Always on Top" function as the problem is only occurring in the NC weblogs.  We've been testing it there and on the department blogs only at this point in time.

We're looking into it.

This problem should now be corrected.  Entries should now be showing up in the proper order.

Latest entry should always be allowed to be on the top of the page.  Readers will scroll down only until they get to something they have already read.  If you 'hide' things by putting an older date on them your readers will never find them.
