It appears to me that the live stream is a dismal failure.   I just sat through some of the opening parts of "on demand' and it started with a list of officers for some reason - I didnt catch what they are being honored for - at first I thought it was maybe those in attendance but after almost 9 minutes it got to Mo and the officers listed were last years officers.  Now I can only assume that maybe they were the ones that made All-American.  But still one waste of time.  I am glad I figured out how to turn it off.  By the way it was not smooth either.

Watching the Patriotic Rally right now at convention and the live stream, while a little choppy, is great.  So glad they decided to live stream it.

CIC just announced that there have been 15000 hits to the convention stream.  And that some members have asked for a secure stream site so members can attend the afternoon business meetings.  CIC said the National Adjutant will be looking into it.  I recommend that if you’re interested you should contact National and let them know your interest.

To the best of my knowledge, the subject was a part of last night's chat on the MY VFWCOM site as 7 of us were watching & chatting at the same time.
Including one of our Head Wizards. He with the Camera!
Methinks he made the Illustrious aware of all 15,000 of us interested for so many years as to "What's Behind The Door."

I watched the live stream of the Patriotic Rally and really enjoyed it but for the most part it was for the WW!! era veteran - where was the part for the current conflict vets?  To draw them in and make them interested we have to get younger in the entertainment department also.

You must have missed the swearing in of the Army recruits.  Can't get much more current conflict than that.

(Did anyone there get on one of the busses Wednesday after taking the oath?  LOL)

I am not sure about the live stream as I was there.  As I recall it was at (or very near) the beginning of the Patriotic Rally.

If it isn't in the archieves, it should be!
