What military does it favor; Active Duty, Guard/Reserve, Retired, or veteran, and how does it favor them over a non-military Civilian?

The resort sells lots along a river and golf course.

Thanks for requesting clarification DoggyDaddy.

I am retired USAF and have the opportunity to run the Wilds RV and Golf Resort's club house, golf course, and sales office.  My first intention is to give some appreciation back to our military members (past, present, retired, active duty, guard and reserves), public servants (fire, police, medical, city administrators), and educators with something as simple as a free round of golf.  If they would like a free 2-night stay at the Wilds (they must provide their own RV (24' or longer and can not be more than 10-years old), I'll provide a concrete parking pad, sewer lines, running water, electrical, and a pleasent environment.

Here is how we (I) favor military.  If someone served honorably, for a day or a lifetime, I have worked with our developers to waiver the 10% down requirement on purchases (we've only done that for military).  Second, my wife printed the free golf and free 2-night stay coupons for the Wilds RV and Golf Resort.  I have handed out the free golf coupons to our military members at a higher rate than our non-military civilians (so it seems???).  Third, when we do shows at the convention centers, most military members (just for being military) are always given a heartfelt "thanks for serving" handshake and a smile of respect and gratitude.

No disrespect or discrimination to our non-military civilians.  We extend the same offers to them as-well, but military members tend to strike up conversations fairly easy and extending a free round of golf flows from the heart and comes without commitment nor obligations from either party.

P.S. no salesman will call, contact, nor advertise for sale any product or service with either coupon, unless they specifically request information.  Our pricing fees are open to anyone to see.  They're not obligated to anything other than to accept our heartfelt appreciation for the profession they are involved with.

In closing, I remember deploying to Khamis Mushat Saudi Arabia for Team Stealth IV in April of 1992 and flying into Bangor, Maine.  About 300 people met us at the terminal at 1am with flags flying and applause.  They gave us a small American flag and a tiny homemade stuffed doll.  It wasn't the price of the gift.  It was the thought.  It was heartfelt, from the heart, and is a tear-jerker everytime I recall that evening.

So, from the heart, we salute our men and women of the military, active and retired, guard and reserve.  Thank you.
