Hey all,

For those who might not be familiar with the photo albums feature on My VFW WebCOM and how to apply it to your weblogs, I have created a how-to video screencast that will walk you thru the process of creating uploading photos to your account, using those photos to create an album and then embedding that album as a slideshow on your post/district/department weblog.  The video is also helpful if you are just having problems uploading photos to your account or if you are having problems embedding videos in your blogs.

Check it out in the Discussion area of the Dept/District/Post Blogmasters group or watch it below.

Shu,
That was a real good demonstration video.  You have done a fine job at it.

Excellent. Confucious would be proud! Adding the verbal is marvelous!

I will have to watch & listen to this many times before imbedding it on my Post site as an album.

First I need to know how to remove a picture already added to "My Pictures."
My lil dog is offended that I added his wet back cousin. NOT funny!

Just click on "My Photos" in the photo area...find the picture you want to delete and click on it.  The picture will open and there should be an option underneath or along the side to delete the picture.

Or, let me know which one you would like deleted and I'll take care of it.

Thanks Dan,
Gonna write an old Fleet Tug Boat Sailor, living on a poor dirt farm in Fremont, WI, what great friends I have.

I made a slideshow at My VFW WebCom and posted it to www.vfwwebcom.org/mo/post3770
but it seems a little small.  Your instruction worked great.  I would suggest downsizing photos to 500 px wide first though so the upload is quicker.  No quality is lost.
Thanks again for letting us know about this valuable tool.  A good way to post a lot of photos to the weblogs at once of the same general subject matter.
