Instructions for adding commander's picture
« on: February 06, 2008, 12:02:16 pm »
Adding your post commander's picture to your site is quite simple.

Before you get started, locate your commander's picture and resize and/or crop it so that it is no more than 125 pixels wide or 180 pixels tall.  You can use any photo editing software for this.

When you are ready just follow the steps below:

1) Login to your weblog.

2) Click "Profile" in the top navigation bar.

3) Go to the "Upload New Avatar" section and upload your commander's pic.

4) Scroll down and fill in your commander's name in the appropriate box.  (Fill in the rest of the information boxes there as well, while you're at it.  :)  )

5) Save the changes at the bottom of the page and that's it.  When your post page is loaded, your commander's picture and name will now replace the department or commander-in-chief's info.

This is currently active in NC, MO, WI and other departments soon to follow.

Contact me or your state blogmaster if you need further assistance.
