Hello! I am new to this site :)
What can you say about the VA prescribing marijuana to veterans with PTSD? And what exactly is the position of the VFW on this?

Recommend you visit, call or e-message your VA Primary care doctor with your question.

My last understanding is that the VA will not prescribe marijuana but you can get an outside Dr to prescribe it for medical purposes (for states it's approved). If you use marijuana, you're to advise your VA Dr of it so he can adjust your other medications accordingly and the VA is not suppose to punish you in any way for using marijuana for medical purposes.

If anyone has different info, please advise.
