Questions for candidates

With the upcoming state primary and and a handful of candidates wishing to represent the citizens of our district, I've decided to send the candidates a list of questions concerning veterans and active duty and how they will represent us.
My general belief is that like most candidates or politicians they always say "we will support the veterans", but find it hard for them to explain exactly what THEY will do.  I will provide the answers or the lack there of from the candidates to all veteran organization's within the district. I feel they need to know.

My question for all of you is, what questions would you ask.
