Greetings Sisters and Comrades: Here we are in the last lap of our Race to complete our programs and get those reports in to the District and Department chairmen. We have accomplished quite a lot this year and our Auxiliary will surely shine when it comes time for citations and awards to be handed out. May is designed as Buddy Poppy Month. We will be offering poppies at several different sites around the city. Please make a donation if you can, as this money goes into our Relief Funds for the Post and Auxiliary. The Department Convention will be held in Ontario, California on June 20 thru June 25. If your interested in attending,I have hotel reservation forms available, just call and let me know if you need one. The fireworks sale will begin June 28th through July 4th. If you have any spare time and would like to volunteer an hour or two sometime during that period, there will be a sign-up in the clubroom. Congratulations to all Post and Auxiliary officers elected for 2008/09, Good luck and I wish you all a very fulfilling year carrying out your obligations for your position.
