We have many members and friends who are recovering from various illnesses and operations unknown to us. We are glad Shirley is out of the hospital and now home doing well. Give us a call or drop us a line and let us know how you are doing. We will drape our charters June 4th and gave a final salutes to Comrade and Sister Loretta Killen of Lakewood, WA and Comrade Leo Bud Decker, Past Capt of the VFW Honor Guard. We extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to Delores Decker, their families and all of you whom have lost friends and loved ones. Our prayers and get-well wishes for a speedy recovery go to; Shirley Head, Alice Carreiro, Diane Morgan. and Norman Ball. If you know of a Comrade, Sister or family members who is ill, in distress, in need of visitors, or suffering bereavement, please contact your Chaplain, Commander or President. Each day is a gift from God. If your unable visit the Post, let us know how you are doing. Lets all give thanks and take the time to remember and to pray for the safe return of our military men and women serving overseas. Wishing you a Happy Fourth of July. Please take some time to remember our armed forces who are far away from home. While we celebrate our 4th of July, let us celebrate those who have unselfishly served and still serving this country, the true patriots. Dear Heavenly Father, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. AMEN. God Bless You and our Troops.
