RELEASE No. 20061018-08 Oct. 18, 2006 Coalition Forces use guided munitions to end insurgent attack MULTINATIONAL FORCE - WEST PAO CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq - Coalition Forces were attacked by insurgents with small arms fire today on the south side of the Euphrates River in Khalidiyah. Coalition Forces located the building from which the gunfire was coming and returned fire. When the enemy's fire did not cease, Coalition Forces used two air-delivered missiles on the building. The target was destroyed and the attack ended. There have been no reports of civilian casualties, and enemy casualties are unknown at this time. There were no Coalition Forces injured in the attack. |
