Hi guys! Just checking your progress again and am just in awe of your fortitude. General Petraeus is dead on: 25 miles a day is punishing pace!

Extra prayers headed your way from Arlington today, hoping to add a spring in your step. And I am SOOO glad that the sun will be shining on you today. Still hoping to catch the end tomorrow on the way to Lincoln :)

Saturday, March 15, 2008 - keep it up!

Keep going!! i passed your walking men and your caravan support this afternoon, probably around 4PM while you were heading north on 123!

One of you who was walking waved to people, I had a small wave though don't know if you saw it. Honestly I hadn't heard of your march until I saw you this afternoon, and so I was apprehensive to start honking, etc until I knew more of your cause. Thus I came home and googled your Resolve to Win to learn more.

As a US citizen, I appreciate all that you have done in previous wars. I work w/the elderly, many of whom served in WW2. In fact just today I went to the funeral of one such individual. But in seeing the wonderful lives these people have lived, I just hope that our current soldiers can return home soon and do so safely and hopefully w/as little injury as possible.

Hope you all continue in strength, and I do hope this war ends soon. We need to support our troops for sure, but I do hope they can get back to their loved ones soon so they can continue to live their lives.
