REPEAT DAILY.

See linked "March Route and Schedule" for daily details 1 to 16 March 2008.

Additionally, the Google Pedometer map may be zoomed for mile marker / route / distance details.

Core Participants:
Core Participants are identified as those volunteers who have been committed to making the entire march from the SC / NC Stateline (at Rt 301) to Washington, DC. We are seeking financial support to provide full logistics support for the Core Participants including food and lodging during the duration of the Campaign. For that reason, the group will be limited and identified well in advance of the event to ensure proper logistical support and individual preparation. This will be a very demanding physical and psychological undertaking, which should not be taken lightly.

The campaign needs the support of many in order to ensure that the message is heard. To ensure the greatest participation we are encouraging "Regional Participation" by a number of patriotic organizations along the way.

Regional Participants:
We are appealing to the communities along the route to come out and show they "Support the Troops", support the mission of the troops and "Resolve to Win" this war against the enemies of our nation. All Regional Participants are welcome to join the march: whether for a day, an hour, a single mile or standing on the side of the road. Your voice will be heard as the numbers of participants are seen.

Regional Participants may join in the "Resolve to Win" march at any point along the way, based on the March Route and Schedule. All Regional Participants are responsible for providing all logistical and life support activities for individual participants in their geographic area as well as coordinating and publicizing their participation through local media outlets.

Regional Participants representing local civic organizations are invited to carry the Campaign Colors along the route and formalize their support by attaching their organizations streamer to the Campaign Colors.

Campaign Colors:

A campaign guidon will travel the distance of the march representing the "Campaign Colors". The guidon is a standard 20' x 27", blue in color with gold fringe, the "Great Seal of the United States of America" is centered, surrounded by the words "RESOLVE TO WIN".

The Campaign Colors will be carried by Core Participants and Regional Participants organizations along the route of march. Organizations which support the "Resolve to Win" March by providing Regional Participants will have an opportunity at the beginning and end of each day to add a their Battle Streamer to the Campaign Colors. Organizational Battle Streamers provided by Regional Participants should conform to the following specifications: size is to be 1 3/8' wide and 24' long, color and trim determined by participant, text on the streamer should indicate the organization and Post / Chapter designation of the Regional Participant (example "American Legion - VA Post 320" or "Spotsylvania, VA Post 320").  Streamer should have a grommet or reinforced "button hole" to enable attachment to guidon pole. Streamer should be made of a durable and weather resistant material. Reference for Guidon Battle Streamers here.

Streamers along with the Campaign Guidon will be achieved and will not be returned to the organization.
